Donor Overseas Coordinator

Dhian Giri

Dhian Giri lives in Darwin, Australia. He has 2 beautiful children Star Aarian and Thamara Tazkia. He loves reading and play soccer. He is so passionate about helping children. 

He dreams of providing every kid an equal chance in life and helping them chase their dream.

He has travelled to several countries and including Laos, Malaysia and East Timor for Volunteering works to help kid in need.

He spent most of his holiday by volunteering for study Rhematic Heart disease in remote Aboriginal children and Torres Strait Islander In Darwin, Northern Territory Australia.

Leader / Manager

Jory Bawa

Jori has a Bachelor in Economic. He is currently working as a public servant in Motor Vehicle Registration in transport Department in Kupang.

He is the Leader of our Tazkia Aarian project. He is responsible for identifying and managing donor relationships as well as overseeing the structure, processes, and systems required to support a comprehensive development program that secures Tazkia Aarian’s revenue, which ultimately fuels the organization’s operations and impact.

Jori has more than 7 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining Tazkia Aarian project, Jory spent 6 years at Plan Indonesia headquarter in Jakarta, where he was in charge of external affairs and managing Budgeting department. In that role, He led the fundraising, public relations, parent engagement, and staff advocacy work that supported Plan’s public relation mission.

Budget Coordinator

Bento Costa

Bento is our Field Coordinator. He makes near impossible thing happen. He organises a safe classroom environment for our students in face to face meeting.  He loves doing things with other people. He is good in influence people and making friends. He is the guy you can count 1,2,3 and he will be there for you.

He loves spreading his passion through education. He manages our project budget and loves delivering gifts basket to elderly people and orphans as part our monthly project as well a free English Course.  He is eager to continue working with this incredible team that wants to provide free English course to everyone.

Campaign, Social media/Volunteer Coordinator

Leany Adu

Creative Teacher and Multimedia Campaign Officer
Leany is a creative teacher at the Tazkia Aarian Project.  She graduated from Nusa Cendana University in 2009 and has worked for several non-profit organizations including as a tutor and mentor at Child Development Center in collaboration with the Compassion Foundation, and as a Sunday School teacher of GMIT Bethel Church.
She leads the team responsible for engaging with our student’s parents, usage of Academy by learners and other teachers, and she also helping through campaigns, programs, and partnerships.

She works as an assistant for the village community empowerment program at TLM Foundation.  Her job is to provide information and assistance for teenagers and housewives about home industry business, child protection, and human trafficking.

She loves children very much, she wants to do many good things with children and plan their future together, because if we set good examples for children from an early age they will become good people and also have a good future.

Program / Teacher Coordinator

Sarifa Assa

Ifa is the Program/Teacher Coordinator in Tazkia Aarian Project. Her main responsibility is to plan and design the learning program to include continued improvement and evaluation. She is also responsible for monitoring the learning process to ensure sustainable student development.

Ifa is an English teacher and has been teaching English for more than 10 years. She did her undergraduate study at Nusa Cendana University in Kupang and gained her Master’s degree in La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Both degrees majored in English Teaching.

Ifa is currently part of Smart Learning Center Kupang, and her speciality is teaching IELTS and TOEFL. Since 2016, she has worked as an IELTS master trainer for Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) in Bali to teach an Australia Awards’ program called ELTA (English Language Training Assistance).
She also has experience in teaching English for students with disabilities especially those with visual impairments.

Ifa is passionate about teaching English as a foreign/second language and teaching Bahasa Indonesia to speakers of other languages.

Inspiring teacher

Riri Andryani Pinis

Riri Andryani Pinis is also known as Riri. She is 25 years old. She lives in Kupang, NTT. Riri has a hobby of reading books and cooking. Her career experience started in 2018. She started working at the IO-0623 Child Development Center as an English mentor and tutor. She became a mentor for children aged 12-14 years. Apart from working as a fulltime, Riri is also active in several organizational activities and as a volunteer. In the name love for the world of children, Riri is also actively involved in several service organizations for children. Until now, Riri is still active as a Sunday school teacher at PART JBOT. Riri also joined with 4 of her friends in an organization called the Growing Group with Yehi’or. This group was formed to provide creative teaching training for friends from Sunday school teachers in remote parts of NTT.

The most valuable experience for her was when she was able to participate in training activities to become a Child Listener. After attending training and completing exams, she was finally declared worthy of becoming a Child Listener. For Riri, her life motto is ‘While you are alive, keep learning and serving’.

Aspiring Mathematics Teacher

Yulius Mau Wadu

Lius loves fishing and watching football matches.
Affection for helping children is always in his heart. In early 2000s, he spent most his time teaching mathematics to unfortunate kids in remote community in District of So’e, Kupang.
 
Lius has extensive experience in teaching Mathematics. In 1995, he received an award in the International Competition For School (Mathematics) organized by The University Of New South Wales, Australia.
He spent more than 5 years teaching Mathematic in rural community at SMP1 Kristen Amnuban Selatan, Kupang.
 
Serving God  and teaching Math are two things that Lius is passionate about.
He is currently a Pastor at the GMIT Pniel Batuinan Klasis Semau Congregation.
During his free time, he loves to share his expertise with Kids at Tazkia Aarian Project.

Mathematics Teacher Coordinator

Nur Narang

Nur is a Math teacher at the Tazkia Aarian Project. Her main responsibilities are designing mathematics learning programs, conducting classroom teaching and evaluating each student’s learning outcomes in mathematics classes.
 
Nur completed her undergraduate studies majoring in Electrical Engineering Education, Nusa Cendana University in Kupang and obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Department, Brawijaya University, Malang.
 
Nur is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Nusa Cendana University. She is very passionate in volunteer activities with the “Dompet Dhuafa” Volunteer community. She has also participated in Active Citizen Program, namely a social leadership training program that promotes intercultural dialogue and community-based social development organized by the British Council.

She is very interested in community and volunteer activities, especially in the field of education and social services to improve the world of education and people’s lives, especially the better NTT community.

Yesi Mehelina Amelia Mabilehi

Yesi Mehelina Amelia Mabilehi was born in Kupang, 12 July 1987. She is fulltime mother of 2 beautiful children. She is currently working at the Regional Revenue and Assets Agency for the Province of NTT. She has expertise in Financial Report Analyst. She is very fond of traveling and shopping. She has been active in discussions forming Tazkian Aarian Project in 2021 and joined as a Volunteer.
